PORTFOLIO EDITIONS

Fine art photographer Joshua Klein has undertaken an extensive half-year photographic survey of the grounds at the historic Château de Versailles.

This past fall, Joshua began capturing the stark beauty of winter with plans to continue through the spring as the gardens bloom and fountains come to life.  By early summer, the limited edition portfolio will be released.      

Joshua’s interest in Versailles began at an early age, attending a school nearby he gained an appreciation of its majesty and history.  He has returned over the years to photograph.

This project will consist of new work reflecting evolving techniques and his mastering of a specialized monochrome digital process.

Versailles is the first in a series of bespoke portfolios by Joshua Klein.  Next in the series will be Beyond the Golden Gate, an exploration of California’s storied northern coast.  Planned for release in late 2024.

PATRONS EDITION

PLATINOTYPE PORTFOLIO

For the discerning collector of photography, a very limited edition of five platinotype portfolios will be released.  The Patrons Edition portfolio will contain twelve hand printed platinum images.

Platinotype (platinum) prints are renowned for their rich inky blacks, warm highlights, and understated beauty.  This historic process remains the most coveted of the printing processes.

The prints will be housed in a custom designed archival solander box with the title embossed in gold.

Four patrons will have the opportunity to acquire this edition. The fifth edition will be donated to a chosen charity.

LIMITED EDITION PORTFOLIO

ADVANCE PURCHASE

This summer a limited edition of 50 portfolios featuring a curated selection of the work will be released. This collectors piece will contain twelve gallery quality pigment prints and be housed in a custom made solander case.

Measuring 12x16 inches (30 x 40 cm) the archival portfolio will include a letterpress edition certificate and a pair of curators gloves for safe handling of the prints.

This project will be printed on Rives BFK, a beautiful fine art printing paper made by Arches, a 400 year old French paper mill.
